  • Gohei Flashback: Blood Edit: Removal of blood spirt /blood running from wound inflicted by Kamiya-sensai on Gohei's thumb.

  • Gohei Attacks the Dojo: Line Edit: Gohei: '...When I kill you and destroy this school...' to '...When I destroy both you and this school.'
  • Gohei 'Falls': Line Edit: Gohei Cronie: 'Oh my God...' to 'Oh my goodness.'

    Edit Count:
    Number we predicted: 23
    Real Number: 9

NOTE: Just to let you know, the edits they made I pretty much had all of them pegged...scary, ne? They also, left the opening blood cross in the opening sequence but cut the others...odd.

    -Rurouni Soujirou

NOTE: There is something I noticed that Souji-san missed. I believe that when both Gohei's and his Cronie's lines where edited they used different VAs for it probably because they could not find the originals.

    2. Kid Samurai: Aired: Toonami, March 18, 2003

  • At the Syndicate Headquarters: Line Edit: Cronie: 'Who the hell are you?!' to 'Who the heck are you?!'
  • At the Syndicate Headquarters: Line Edit: Cronie: 'You bitch!' to 'You witch!'
  • At the Syndicate Headquarters: Scene Edit: Yahiko being slapped by Gaskai. About three seconds from after Cronie line: 'Hold your horses.' scene comes back at Gaskai's line: 'What do you think you were trying to do Yahiko.'
  • Before the Yakuza Boss: Scene Edit: Yahiko kicking the cronie in the balls.
  • Before the Yakuza Boss: Line Edit: Yakuza Boss: 'It's time to show this loud mouth, punk who owns his scrawny ass.' to 'It's time to show this loud mouth punk who owns him.'
  • Kenshin Arrives: Line Edit: Cronie: 'Who they hell are you?!' to 'Who the heck are you.'
  • Yahiko & Kenshin: Line Edit: Yahiko: 'Damn...damn....damn' to 'darn...darn...darn...'

    Edit Count:
    Number we predicted: 16
    Real Number: 7

NOTE: Nothing big here...though I think they could've kept Yahiko kicking the guy in the balls as anyone who takes martial arts knows that this is one of the many weak points on the human body...not to mention it's obvious what Yahiko did anyway.

    -Rurouni Soujirou

NOTE: There were very few edits here. Yay!

  • The Police Swordsman: Scene Edit: From Yahiko's line: 'Wait no!' to the pan shot of the police swordsman when Kenshin enters the scene.
  • Police Swordsman vs. Kenshin: Scene Edit: Karou arrives and there's a pan shot of the unconcious police swordsman's bodies.
  • Police Swordsman vs. Kenshin: Blood Edit: Kenshin's contact point with the swordsman's back was black and white instead of blood colored.

    Edit Count:
    Number we predicted: 22
    Real Number: 5

NOTE: ::Blinks:: They didn't edit as much out of here as I thought they would. I'm impressed. ^_^

    -Rurouni Soujirou

NOTE: That is interesting and impressive. Maybe CN is not the edit monster everyone says it is, huh?

    4. Bad!: Aired: Toonami, March 20, 2003

  • Intro: Line Edit: Sano: '...hell of a pathetic fight.' to '...heck of a pathetic fight.'
  • At the Akabeko: Line Edit: Yahiko: 'They look like a bunch of drunks to me.' to 'They look like a bunch of bums to me.'
  • At the Akabeko: Line Edits: Yahiko: '...I doubt you even know what you're talking about you big drunk.' Drunk Guy: 'Who ya callin' a drunk? We're on a crusade for democracy.' Yahiko: 'Oh please, even a drunk crusader is still a drunk.' to Yahiko: '...I doubt you even know what you're talking about you annoying bum.' Drunk Guy: 'Wha ya callin'an annoying bum? We're on a crusade for democracy.' Yahiko: 'Oh please, even an annoying crusader is still annoying .'
  • At the Akabeko: Line Edit: Sano: '...Unless the democracy that you preach is the freedom to get drunk.' to '...Unless the democracy that you preach is the freedom to get wild.'
  • At the Akabeko: Line Edit: Sano: 'That really pisses me off.' to 'That really irritates me.'

    Edit Count:
    Number we predicted: 25
    Real Number: 5

NOTE: ::smiles:: I really liked the edits...especially Sano's whole freedom to get wild thing...it just sounds like something he'd say to me. ^_^

    -Rurouni Soujirou

NOTE: The only thing I have to add is that that when they edited Sano's line about the 'freedom to get wild' it was clear that it was not part of the original recording. There was something different about the background noise, but it still was Lex Lang that was speaking the line so that was good. I really liked the edits in this one better then the original lines.

    5. The Reverse-Blade vs. The Zanbatou: Aried: Toonami, March 21, 2003

  • Sano Flashback/At The Sekihoutai Tent (Sekihoutai Betrayed): Scene Edit: Shadows of Sekihoutai members being shot on the tent.
  • Sano Flashback/At the Sekihoutai Tent (Sekihoutai Betrayed): Scene Edit: Bodies falling around Captain Sagara before he falls from being shot.
  • Sano Flashback/Sekihoutai Fleeing: Scene Edit: Images of members being shot in the stills that they show.
  • Sano Flashback/Sekihoutai Fleeing: Scene Edit: Close up of Captain Sagara getting shot before he throws Sano over the cliff.
  • Sano Flashback: Line Edit (voice over with present Sano): Sano: '...They're dirty, too damned dirty.' to '...They're dirty, just too dirty.'
  • Sano at the Akabeko: Line Edit: Sano: 'I don't mind if you get drunk and pick a fight...' to 'I don't mind if you get wild and pick a fight.'

    Edit Count:
    Number we predicted: 26
    Real Number: 6

NOTE: Heh...I love the 'get wild' thing. I figured about the edits in the Sekihoutai section...so they came as no shock to me. But, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be or as bad as I first thought.

    -Rurouni Soujirou

NOTE: Upon seeing the edits in the Sekihoutai being shot I really thought I had found the worst edit yet. But on reflecting and reviewing it wasn't as many edits as I though. Must've looked away for a sec or something.
